Settle in, sip, and let the stories unfold. Tales & Tipples is a relaxed and entertaining whisky experience where the focus is on storytelling rather than whisky production. Hosted in our cozy Tasting Room with breathtaking views, this 45-minute session invites you to enjoy a carefully crafted drink while being regaled with captivating local legends.

Our guide, Susan, will bring the local area's rich history and folklore to life, sharing the story behind 8 Doors Distillery, the legend of the Swelkie swirling in the Pentland Firth just beyond our windows, and more tales of the sea, land, and people that have shaped this rugged coastline.

As you listen, you can choose from:
A Ginger Highball (Seven Sons Whisky & Ginger Beer)
A Clementine Fizz (Five Ways Liqueur & St Clements Lemonade)
☕ A comforting coffee
Or three whisky samples for those who prefer to savour a dram
